... and set our sites on London Heathrow. Had panned to goto Warwick castle but the time was now looking a bit right. The boys dropped Dunc off at Milton Keynes train station and by 4:30 he was in London and the remainder carried on to the airport. I Got a text that traffic was horrible and only got the car retuned at 630 pm, after that all checked in and through security by 7:47 so 2 hours before the big bird leaves. ... still own the estate, have opened the grounds for the public to use, free of charge, as a picnic area and a place to turn the kids loose. The estate includes a sculpture garden with a surprisingly diverse collection of sculpture – some very recognizable and appealing, and others quite mystifying! It also has a “Garden of Surprises” which was essentially a number of water features ...

Going to be a day of sitting and waiting.

... due into Leicester at 1:30, but ended up getting here at 3:30. There is some light in all the darkness... an unexpected one at that, namely the Premier Inn. The staff are amazing. ... in 1947 and made some absolutely fantastic stuff. The exhibition was given to the museum by a family who lost there children in the 2004 tsunami. How sad. I took some photos but was told no photos allowed - bugger! Oh well I have some beauties though. I will have to content myself with postcards which I duly bought for Jess.
