... have our ski boots fitted, so tomorrow morning when we are all fresh faced we can get straight onto the slopes to enjoy our first skiing lessons.

Mrs Taylor is looking forward to spending her day in a cafe of drinking copious amounts, non-alcoholic obviously....

The question is, will we all survive, how will Mrs Taylor cope without wine, and sharing a room with Mr Swain will Mr Maggs get a wink of sleep? Don't forget Miss Mullen, she is terrifying before 10 am!

... for me at Turpins in Tywcross. This was an amazing night, such a surprise. The girls had organised balloons and a cake for me. The food was also amazing. ... a new talent, rock skimming! Much time has been spent developing this talent... Last night we had a lamb roast and pav to celebrate Australia Day, We have found a couple of favourite places in Newark including a nearby park, Devon and Scone, a coffee shop called Strays and a pub called Oscars. ... I bedded down for the night- or so I thought. No sooner was I comfortable and the lights out, and the crew was asking if there was a medical doctor on board as there was a passenger that was extremely unwell. The next hour passed with cabin crew up and down to the cockpit then the news that we should prepare the cabin for landing as the plane had been diverted. The crew were all fantastic reassuring us that it was a perfectly normal procedure. I suppose ...

Phew! A day with nothing organised! We are having a fantastic time but finding it very tiring too. The traffic is horrendous and Pete has been doing all of the driving while I'm in charge of the sat nav! You really need 2 of you to keep your wits about you.

The hotel is quiet and we both had a good night's sleep. So today will be a lazy day, wandering into town for a bit more shopping I suspect.
