Before I start, I'm afraid we have lost the memory card with all our pictures on it, so there is nothing to display from Singapore (Gand Prix, Night Safari, Zoo, Botanical Gardens, City Centre) or Penang (Beaching it up). Sorry.

The more we think about it, the more devastated we are that we have lost our entire photo log so far. If I hadn't have had an unexpected bout the s****s while writing the last blog in the KL airport departures lounge, I wouldn't have left it sitting there doomed to be lost from us for ever. We had so many amazing pictures, so we are both gutted. After a day of travel we are welcomed into the most built up city on our itinerary with a woman paying our busfare. Mainly because i couldnt get to the old travel pouch under my clothes under my two backpacks. so that was nice and a complete and utter summary of people in singapore. Hoorah - it feels more Christmassy! Although the weather isn't quite right! We arrived at the hostel in the Geylang area of Singapore which a taxi driver who was probably on commission from hotels in other areas had told us was a rough area.
