The journey to Singapore was actually much longer than I thought. It was around 8 hours and a half. I was expecting Singapore to be like Hong Kong - I don't know why but I just did. It is very different - In fact it is nothing like it. First of all, when you get off the train, you get the impression that you are in a little town - it has only a few …
I got up just before the end of breakfast which was quite lucky really because it could have easily been noon. The internet was down at the hostel so I was unable to plan my day or find out what to do in Singapore so I just decided to head for the city centre and discover it for myself.

Had the pleasure of experiencing my first AirAsia flight today. Although it …

A definite gem for Singapore. This small but cheap guesthouse offers everything you may need. Dorms vary from 4 bed boxes, to 10 bed monsters. All rooms are air con, which is brilliant for the sweaty evenings. Free breakfast, and is right next to Aljunied MRT station.
