... Gordon Ramsey. Not the finest cuisine my tummy has ever seen. However, the food began to progressively become tastier near the end of our Rwandan journey. So I will stop complaining now.

We were very blessed to have met various individuals within this country, all of which believe there is a new found hope in Rwanda that is driving the country forward into a bright future. The government has played a integral role in trying to rebuild a country that ...

Remy and I held our first tournament this past weekend at the Youth Friendly Center in Kayonza where Kevin and Priscilla renovated one of their courts last year. It is a great location to have an event considering it is close to the bus park, health center, and little shops along the main road. We were able to get tents, chairs, transport, a sound system and food from local business’, which ended up employing over ...

... Out he came in his khaki attire, looking as masculine and Afrikaans as ever! We reminded him of how we had met and he remembered us. We thanked him for giving us his time and thereby giving us the confidence to go forth and have the trip of our lives. When we gave him the wine he was so thrilled. He really, really hugged us both intensely. (SEE, THEY ARE A NATION OF HUGGERS!!!) When we told him what we had done and how we had traveled, he was so proud of us and genuinely ...
