      ... running. I took some sand from the beach - it was beautiful! The mountains were gorgeous. I enjoyed trying to lasso the fake cow - that was fun. I had a really fun time on the car rides and at dinner talking to the other girls. I'm bummed to leave tomorrow, but swimming with everyone was really great. I had a lot of fun!

      ... On the small rack behind the seat was a one gallon plastic gas can. There was a small rag stuffed in spout where the cap was missing, and I could see less than a quart of gas sloshing in the bottom. I figured he was one of the locals who came here for Sunday lunch. He dutifully put the can back in his pack, climbed on and pushed away.
