I love all the camps in the park. i would really recommend moving around from camp to camp. They're all great for their own unique reasons.

Nice, basic but everything you need. Make sure you get there earlier than gate closure because the empty sites are really hard to find and I got there about 3.30pm! I saw one poor car drive past me 3 times in about half an hour! The ablusions are probably the nicest of all the camps.
Make sure you have the campsite adaptor for you plugs too. They fit only the camper ones, not normal "plug-in-the-wall" plugs. (Then you will have the adapter fitting the 3 prong plug, so if you have 2 prong devices, you'll need that adapter too.)

Get packed up and on the road and headed to Skukuza. Decided to take the tar road because would be the quickest route based on road conditions. The speed limit on the tar roads is 50kmph and on the secondary roads if 40kmph so observing the speed limits does make a difference. While planning this trip had read on SanParks forum about the …

Up and on the road fairly early and made it through the small villages to enter through Numbi gate. There was no one else in line so it went fairly well. On the way to Skukuza we did see four rhinos! Great welcome to the park.

        Into the Wild

... The tour guides seemed very friendly and strangely enough I know one of them from my previous Namibia tour although then he wasn't my guide. The chances of this happening are about 1 in 80 and yet it did. We headed out for our long drive with a few short stops along the way. Mostly the scenery wasn't spectacular but it was nice to see some of the smaller towns. I call South Africa, "Africa Lite" because so much of what I've seen, especially in Cape Town is not the ...

... for this decision spotting more lion, had a leopard cross within metres of the back of our car, seeing elephants, jackals, warthog, baboon, impala and various bocks. We were by this stage running out of time so started to ignore sightings and headed for the gate. We still had several Km to go and it was about 5.30 when we came on a car stopped and people looking excitably to the right. Curiosity got the better of us and we stopped to investigate, but ...
