We ate in silence as we took in the brilliance of the rapids and enjoyed some quiet meditation. A bit later on, my friend, Ekaterina, told me to sit on the rocks that went right up to the rushing water for a truly amazing experience. She couldn't have been more right. Then our luck changed... The ticket conductor says 'well that's ok, I actually have a cabin free' so we move along and we get the whole cabin to ourselves all night. Thank you stupid travel agent. You really had our backs!! Praying for a decent nights sleep. Arriving in Stockholm at ...

After a good night of sleep, we had a visit with Gerda (Anneli's mom) and Michaela (Anneli's sister in-law). When Phillip came home from work in the afternoon, we went to the Mall in Luleň to do some shopping - and people watching. My impression is that they are a little more fashionable here in Sweden than perhaps they are in Norway - Norwegians are functional people.
