... city tour, we all piled into buses to head to Storforsen, a rapid in the Pite River. I actually wasn't quite sure what Storforsen was when I bought my ticket, but I knew that it was something I did not want to miss. After an hour traveling through landscapes of rolling hills, lush forests, and blue skies, we arrived to Storforsen.

I feel as if I'm being redundant. All I talk about is how beautiful Sweden is, but really, I cannot even begin to describe how true it ...

The flight to Lulea was short and easy. We rented a 4WD Volvo cross country and drove to Elite hotel in Lulea where we spent a night. Before the night was over we visited Gammelstad and ate dinner at "typical" Swedish pub The Bishop's Arms.

Next morning we walked on ice roads in Lulea and drove to next destination.

Phillip worked this morning, so I caught up on my work email while Christine visited Anneli's sister in-law Michaela.
In the afternoon, I played basketball with Phillip at the sport center at the University of Lulea ...
