... attraction at Innsbruck is the Golden Roof. The roof of a building is foiled with gold and is a nice backdrop to the huge lit-up Christmas tree in the centre of town. Both needing a new pair of pants, we ducked into the local H&M and spent around €20 each on a pair. Christmas Markets!
... Makes a change to NZ slopes that are mostly freezing. Got some really good pictures of the mountains along with some nice cheesy ones of us too :)
Also half way up the mountain was an alpine zoo. Never been to one of those, so we decided to check it out. Housed all sorts of cool animals, our favourite being the bear that continued to dig a great big hole and show off to the on lookers, he was pretty cool.

... and taking more photos. There is about 5ft of snow up here and it is just solid ice. At first I was rather nervous about walking on it but it is totally solid and safe to walk on. Saying that, I not only walked on this massive lump of ice but just about went skiing down the pass also. I never thought motorcycle boots made such great ski’s;-)

... pizza has become a universal menu item. It's only a variation on a sandwich really, just a bit hotter and cheese everywhere. Innsbruck is a charming city with little in the way of tourist attractions. Its greatest asset is the view up to the snow-capped mountains that dominate the horizon. History's Presence
... serving feeds me for about two days. I'll eat a good breakfast there when they offer it, but then stash some bread rolls and packets of Nutella that keep me going for awhile. Sure it is probably unnecessary, and yes I still do go out to eat frequently, but at least when hunger strikes on the path of adventure, I have my crusty old roll from Monday's breakfast to save the day.
