    ... those posters and photos of happy people zooshing down snowy slopes makes me wonder why i,m here in summer. have to remember it,s all about the top of the mountain, not the snow of winters past.

    and summer it is. it,s quite warm here today, 30c i,m told, but I think they,re having a lend. maybe it,s around 25C, not a C more. wooses.

    ... the girls could play in a cool playground and just be kids.

    Was really interesting as the land beside the playground had been mowed for hay and they were raking it whilst we were there. Because of the slopes they use a low wheel base machine that puts the mown grass into rows, they then walk around with rakes and collect anything the mechanical rake missed and add it to the rows.     Witek thrashed me in the first game, but by the second game I was feeling a bit more competitive and it actually ended up a draw. Off to bed for another restless night’s sleep after that!
