Wednesday was a quick check of the weather forecast at the local information centre to see which days will be best for Jungfraujoch and Schilthorn. The following 2 days are supposed to be sunny so we spent time around the village and area, including a cable car and toboggan ride.
Sunday is my last day in Gimmewald and I’ve heard the Swiss Alps are beautiful, but I haven’t seen any mountains yet. So when I woke up this morning and anxiously peered out my window I heard the angles sing. This is why I came to Gimmewald. I’ve posted a picture of the view from my window.
