    ... absolutely beautiful, looking forward to the next month of scenery. Sunday, Aug 03 2014 Big news this morning on the trail, I have decided to fold my air mat flat - instead of wrapping it around my sleeping bag.....more to come later on this! What a hell-hole of a hill......the legs only spoke one sentence to me all day..."f**k you." .......that was it the whole entire day!     ... shelter to talk to also. Good people, dry place to eat and sleep!! Thursday, July 24 2014 Waking up to starving mosquitos....not fun. But having the good company of fellow hikers, after a dry night of sleep, priceless. We made great miles to the cookie ladies house. Texas Slick had already arrived....and ate some cookies!     ... to get the folks involved that can put a workable solution in place. I also set up a local standing lab order for the blood work I will regularly need for my DF doctors. The assistants at the DHMC 3 L lab were terrific and helped tremendously with that.

    I’ve learned that I have to be willing to advocate for myself, even when doing so adds stress. It’s a good thing I practice yoga. Thank you Jill and "Hanuman" too.
