Day 72 – Muchas Piscolas
... were all heading to the Garage Nightclub by our hostel.
It was one of those nights where we should have probably stopped when we were ahead. However, the music wasn’t very good, which left drinking and saying goodbye to the rest of our group that were continuing back to Santiago without us. We might regret staying out so late tomorrow morning.

Puerto Varas: days 1 & 2
... the peach juice with dried peaches and corn floating in it). It tasted exactly as it looks. At least I can say I had one. We all sat in the communal dining room, eating and watching DVDs on the nice wall-mounted flat screen TV until quite late. The house is extremely warm and cozy, with huge heating pipes running around every room and a log burning stove in the passage outside the kitchen. We practically had the place to ourselves as there appears to be only about 2 ...
Indiginous Day!
... a few car games bought to us courtesy of Liverpool Claire! Quite amusing sat in the back of a van watching everyone with paper slips stuck on there heads trying to guess the celebrity written on them. I found out i am completely useless at this game, not guessing a single one right!!Long long day back much later than i thought, shame didn't get to speak to certain person i was hoping to talk to on Skye but at the same time one of the best days ...

The weather has stayed nice, at least not raining. This is spring, after all.
Puerto Montt is a big, dirty port city that you have go through to get to and from Chiloe Island.
It' s about a five hour bus trip from Castro. We decided to pass through and stay in Puerto Varas as a lay-over stop before heading north, P. V. was founded by German immigrants in the mid-20th century. It has always been a tourist center. it ...
