... really didn't understand me and I really didn't understand much of what was being said. However! I have noticed that I am picking up more words and comprehending while listening a bit better now that I am exposed more to the language. But in this class there were students that were messing around, most didn't have their books and it was hard to keep ALL of them focused. The teacher did a nice job of balancing the class with oral work and written work for those ...

Today is turning out to be another one of those days that I have to tell myself I made the right decision to do this and that everything will be alright.

Upon waking to no Internet and feeling the need to tiptoe around this apartment for the two who have a much stronger presence than I, I feel like I can't do the things I want and need to get done. I made some great friends on the retreat and we had a wonderful night out in Ibiza Town at the end of the week, but we all still came home feeling fitter and more refreshed. All in all a perfect week which proves that everything is good for you in moderation.

So, I know I should be out on the streets and exploring the beaches like all these other kids out here, but for some reason, I just have no desire. Maybe it has to do with the fact that I was sick for 3 days, it has been ungodly humid since I got here, or that when I was down by the beach today it was so unappealing to me that I have no desire to go back.

Now that the sun is out and it doesn't feel like I will melt when ...
