Of course the beaches around here are all privately owned by the restaurant or clubs fronting them so you have to pay to use. A much better deal than Montenegro where they wanted Euro 20 to sit on a beach chair on their not so nice pebbly beach. Here it's Euro 7 plus you get a discount on drinks. Today everyone slept in then Kelly, Madhu, Aria, Brandon, and I took a ferry to Formentera, a small island off the coast of Ibiza. At Formentera we grabbed paella for lunch then relaxed on the beach. In the morning Mike and I went running then got juice from Wild Beets. Everyone headed to the Salinas beach and got a bed at Jockey Club. Rachael and I went shopping at the boutique near the beach. We tried to meet up with everyone near Ushaiua but snuck in a side door into the hotel and got into the BBC concert, where Calvin Harris performed. Afterwards we all drank on the beach then went to a hip hop club called ...
... from our room on to the walkway below. This is where all the participants in the Ibiza Marathon must run tonight. It's amazing how far up the ship we are. I know we're on deck 10 but it's doesn't look that high up when you're looking over the balcony at the harbours or seas. Look straight down and the people look tiny. Unless they are tiny of course and we're not that far up afer all.
The good news is ...
... dip in the water – even checked that our anchor was well dug in. Saw loads of fish within reaching distance. Just loving it.

This cove is just lovely – very unspoilt. Nursing hangovers we went ashore and had (an expensive) lunch at the restaurant on the beach.

Enjoying this wonderful anchorage – in between dips in the water we're completing chores etc.
