A travel blog entry by argyles on Oct 23, 2015

We arrived at our Southampton hotel a lot earlier than we had done for the Britannia cruise at Easter. We called at IKEA to buy a mascot for our cruise before returning to the hotel for our evening meal. We had an early night ready to embark Ventura on ...

... Irish Tours has put us up in a chain of small luxury hotels called Welsh Rarebits...sort of like Relais et Chateaux in Canada. No more low sloping roofs, drafty windows and noisy plumbing for us! But we were a bit embarrassed about our muddy jeans (the result of our walk) so I am back washing tonight. Today's hotel is at Llanerch Vineyards (I did NOT request this stop) and is lovely. Tomorrow we start really seeing the sites of ...
