Such a beautiful home, delicious food and stunning Japanese garden and bonsai. A wonderful visit to Yahiko mountain and shrine and the seaside. A trip into Niigata city to Kobari Beach, Sea of Japan. Dinner was an assortment of pre-packaged buns and rolls with weird and wonderful flavours which some people may say isn't really dinner, well tough bikkies they tasted too good for me to care. We used the ancient computer in the lobby of the hotel to get in touch with the outside world again and to let our hosts on Sado island know what time we will be arriving the next day then headed off to bed.
