... leading down there. Although we reached the lighthouse, my mam was tired and didn't get out of the car. I checked out the lighthouse and thought it was unique, but not much worth seeing. So I just took a picture and showed it to her later.

Before we left Sado, because we were hungry, we looked for a restaurant. However, we couldn't find one easily and wasted some time. Eventually, we went back to Ryotsu Port to return our rented car and near the rental car shop, we ...

I worked with Shun Sawada in 1995 teaching English at Niitsu High School and had the pleasure of meeting his lovely wife, Suzuyo, many times as she taught me Ikebana, Japanese flower arranging. Such a beautiful home, delicious food and stunning Japanese garden and bonsai. A wonderful visit to Yahiko mountain and shrine and the seaside. A trip into Niigata city to Kobari Beach, Sea of Japan. Such kind ...

Dinner was an assortment of pre-packaged buns and rolls with weird and wonderful flavours which some people may say isn't really dinner, well tough bikkies they tasted too good for me to care. We used the ancient computer in the lobby of the hotel to get in touch with the outside world again and to let our hosts on Sado island know what time we will be arriving the next day then headed off to bed.
