A Place to Return One Day
... for our tour of the city. The views were amazing, beaches beautiful and our walk around the ancient citadel provided insight into it's cathedral, churches, palaces and residences of Catalan and Jewish merchants and bankers. Many photographs of their splendour I would share with you if I could get this dam iPad to upload them onto the travel pod site! Bad weather brewing
... the rain starts, we stop for some lunch and use the wifi to catch up on emails and contact. This hasn't been easy on the ship and with everything else that has been going on for us over the last few days, our travel blog has slipped a bit. We're not sure how to continue with the news without Marty, but will do our best to hold up our end! Eventually, when the rain ceases, we troop back down to the boat and find ourselves ...
Getting organized
... suitcase. Risky business... We just got back to the hotel and are supposed to gather all the girls in the lobby at 5 (in 10 min) but I've learnt that it does not mean until 6 perhaps ;-) African time! We are going to a spa where the bride will have a massage while we go in the suana and/or the pool - afterwards dinner :-) So I haven't seen that much of Cagliari and probably won't - but it's good fun to just be here and celebrate ...
Getting organized
... and went to a club. We had a few drinks and went on to a club to dance. The place was packed with Italian, sweatty people :p Kristine and Suma and an American friend named Sonia are all organizing a girls' night tonight. So the four of us went to a mall today to buy the bride some sexy lingerie and we also managed to do some shopping - mostly in the supermarket! I bought local wine and pasta to cushion and protect the wine ...
