... off the shrimp. After lunch, walked down 125 curved marble steps of the bastion back down to Cagliari where I did a little shopping for the Canasta ornament exchange. It's our last night in Italy. Always look forward to going home, but this time not looking forward to facing a sheet of ice. It was 61 degrees and sunny today. This morning, after some breakfast ice cream we headed south, destination Cagliari. The drive was smooth, scenic, and filled with grazing sheep. I used some leftover points to get us a room at a Holiday Inn close to the airport.

We didn't research Cagliari too much, but it seems like a decent city. The food is alright, the old town is pretty, and the vibe is laid back. ...

... all day and others close and re-open at 4.30 pm and some restaurants at 7.45 pm with others later again. I guess you have to be a local.

We were the first in the restaurant, much as we usually are the first at the breakfasts - look at the poor starving Aussies - they have to be first in line every time.

... we will definitely visit again one day.  Time for a large Gin and Tonic and some wit gathering before the Seabourn club members cocktail party and Chef's Tasting Menu dinner.
