... There are very limited number of restrooms and showers available at Burot. We were always waiting on a very long queue before we could wash ourselves clean. We paid an overnight entrance fee of PhP 150.00 per pax, a bit unreasonably high considering the current condition of their facilities around.

We certainly hope that the management ...

Mindoro is a funny place. As it is very close to Manila there are many Filipino tourist who come here plus a number of ‘western’ tourists plus many, many Korean tourists. Unfortunately there seem to be a lot of old (and really ugly) western men with very young filipino girls. It is pretty low rent.

However we managed to avoid it or ignore it and found a great family ...

... award ceremony, but i know from now the best breakfast is going to be 'cornsilog', especially when Miss K has a no eating eggs day!! More for me!! Anyway, bored in the afternoon, we go beach exploring, but soon came to a pretty wide river crossing ( 3 metres). I did ok and manged to pretty much clear it. Miss k on the other hand failed! SPLASH!! hahaha. So completly alone on a massive stretch of beach, was so peaceful, and even though i have been told strictly not to, ...

We decided to take the
easy option for the way back to Sabang and had our first tricycle.
The tricycles entail a motorbike with a large side car big enough for
two fat westerners or three generations of a Filipino family. As we
clattered over loose stones, pot holes and swerved in and out of
trucks we began to wonder whether it really was the easy option!
