... just before sunset!

We are liking this place more and more!!

That evening we just chilled, played some cards (******** is our game) and once again i think Miss K has a gold medal at it!!

At least Linda has got used to the hours fast asleep in bed! Me on the other hand am lying there wide awake so i decide to go down to the bar and helping me get to sleep by drinking as many beers as it takes!!

Shrimp and Squid Cook-off

... and his wife to taste also.

He said that the shell tasted more shrimp favor and juicier, I was right and won that cook-off, for the squid Yuri won without a problem, but again I have to say, I never had cooked squid before.

Well that is the shrimp and squid cook-off story, tomorrow we will try cooking his dog, he has been fating up. I say grill, he wants to try a soup out. Just kidding.

... mission to a poorer community in Manila with about twenty other students. The organization we went with (Gawid Kalinga) received some medical supplies so they sponsored a day clinic. Laura, Joe, and I, along with our new friend Gertrude, were in charge of taking the weights and temperatures of all the kids that visited the clinic. ... bus to Batangas in southern Luzon. Once our taxi arrived at the bus stop the car was immediately surrounded by men trying to take our bags. Our driver wouldn't open the boot until we were out of the car and in the confusion I forgot to pay him. When I realised and went back he ripped me off 10pesos (25cents). Our bags were taken and put on a bus and the man asked for a tip, 15more pesos gone. He told us the bus would be 300pesos for the two of us ...
