Sitting by the pool enjoying the wonderful atmosphere. All the staff here are so friendly and know you by name. My husband booked his diving yesterday. I will book myself some spa treatments I think when he is away. The spa is fantastic. Not cheap but really good. I love this place. It's been so good not having to worry about jobs and so on. ... settled in for the day. The day was spent reading, napping and swimming it was way too hot to even sunbake for a minute.

My day of leisure was broken up by a game of what turned out to be rather feisty waterpolo. It was no holds barred against big russian and polish guys. But I think I held my own and I even scored a goal.

Another snorkel around dusk and shower before dinner. Tonight was Italian night and again it was just mountains of food.

The exterior doors of the sanctuary are wooden, showcasing beautiful geometric designs with ivory inlay and tiny crosses. A poster outside the sanctuary shows the path the Holy Family took through Egypt. We walk past the Church of St. Sergius, which is supposedly built over a cave where the Holy Family took refuge.
