      ... passed Hannah who was out for her run, turns out she was staying at the same place as us. Not the greatest of coincidences but we still had a chuckle. We met Chad and Avana at Melbas. It was a school night for Avana so we just expected a few drinks and a meal. We enjoyed several pints and then opted to go for Thai at their favourite restaurant.       ... getting lively about! Day 13, last couple of days left together. We took a short drive north to surfers paradise, Gold Coast. Well known as the most touristy, party centre of the east coast. Unfortunately I was having a clumsy day, not quite functioning correctly.       ... effort wasn't as good as I thought it should have been! I did randomly bump into someone I knew from b&q that's lived over here for over a year now which was really funny! It was sad to leave so soon having made so many lovely friends there but I'm sure we will all keep in contact and see each other at various points along the coast!
