Hello Ya'll!

Just to let you know we have arrived safely in Phuket. We haven't seen much as we arrived in the dark, but it seems very lively! There are lots of tourists here. We are spending the day at the beach tomorrow if its not raining and we will try and get some pictures on tomorrow night.

... then was the ping pong show I don't think I've laugh so much ever! So funny! We left there and walked down the stip a bit more, being called over by more lady boys and bar girls.. Who ever said "**** I didn't know it was a lady boy" is a liar!! You can tell them a mile off with there big feet, hands and Adams apples!! One even had a bit of stubble! After a few more laughs about the night and pics with lady boys we got a crazy toktok ride back to the Hotle and crashed ...

... stayed at Karon Beach. The beach itself stretched for miles and was beautiful, but the town looked a bit run down and worse for wear.

Kata Noi Beach is supposedly one of the most beautiful beaches on Phuket Island. It was small and pretty but the day we went it was overcast so not as its best. We also thought that the private hotel which stretches the length of the beach spoilt it.

... described it as the exact opposite to Ko Lanta. Boy was he right. The street scene last night was nasty stuff but somehow it was good to see both sides of the coin. We sat and did some people watching. One lady we saw sumed it all up; bleach blonde hair, smokers wrinkles, a flashing tiara, moo moo dress, and a cigarettee hanging out of her mouth with a pot belly.
