... Lastly, we visited the Village Antiques Mall where it was full of surprises. It seemed like a small paradise for antique lovers because the store had A LOT of stuff ranging from a whole shelf of Coca-Cola collectibles to wooden air craft models. I actually had a lot of fun in the 2 hour trip to Fort Langley. The only disappointment was that not many shops were opened that day and the streets seemed pretty empty.
Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada tintin9197... want to repeat anytime soon. We drove straight there and straight back and spent only a couple of days there. I think we may have driven longer than we actually stayed. All I remember are the many pit-stops to Tim Horton's. By the time we got home I was all coffeed out and I think I would have thrown up if I would've eaten another donut... In August Kyle and I travelled to Menkato, Minnesota. Again, a lot of driving but I enjoyed this much more I think ...
Melville, Saskatchewan, Canada cyndi... I continue on roads Frank recommended and am rewarded with more beautiful twisty roads through forest and farmland. Along the way I'm joined by a group of riders. The lead rider is on an ST1300 (the same bike I ride) with British Columbia plates followed by two Gold Wings and an ST1100, all with California plates. The ST1100 is farkeled (modified) to the max. We ride together ...

Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada ohmaesie... we decided to push on with our completely un thought out plan. Time to find somewhere to live. We decided that it was best to look for a house share somewhere close enough to town. After a very non productive week of looking, it was obvious that something was up. It turned out that we were looking at the same time as every student in the city. The positive is that at least we got to know the place and its ...
Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada philo... roar of a red-hot bellows can be heard from the metal shop around the corner, and as we walk by the open air windows, I see workers inside the rusty corrugated building twisting and spinning and grinding metal into fantastic creations, their metalworking tools hung all askew on the walls and scattered over the floors, a properly unkempt creative space that can likely tease any shape from metal. We discover an architectural glassworks company that creates gigantic ...

Vancouver, Canada nath_h... we agreed. He met us at our hotel, and took us via cab to a cultural fair, where many different Chinese ethnic minorities were showcasing different types of dancing and dress. Joe did not hesistate to regularly interrupt the people working the exhibits (even if they were busy) to pose for photos with us. The Tibetans even gave us some sort of golden silk scarf - I think we were in more photos than we took personally. By the end of the day, all I could see were camera ...
