A few facts on our time in America…
- We have travelled in (or through) 17 states, taking Ni’s total to 18 (California) and James to 19 (California and Maryland).
- 2 car rentals, 3 Mega buses, 4 Subway systems, 1 overnight train, 3 internal flights.
... parallel to the canal until we find the bridge, over and onto a real grid, to a real highway to the actual Interstate. Not sure how TomTom had that road mapped or how it thought it would be a good idea, but we survived and are back in familiar territory.

... we spent an hour or so, digesting the view. They also had a ramp called the Sky Walk with parts of it made of transparent glass, giving us a view of the depth below us.
We just wanted to not leave the place, but after ensuring, we take in enough of Yercaud, we gradually started our descent back to Salem.

We will be leaving Salt Lake City tomorrow morning. We need to pick up a few grocery items and do some laundry. But before we do this we drive out to the Great Salt Lake. It is a huge lake with salty water. We need to look up the history of this lake. A lady in the gift shop did tell us it was a very lively recreational area since the early 1900's with a Pavillion.
