      ... just like the Tower of Americas in San Antonio. You can see everything up there. I loved looking out over the coast and the mountains in the background. We headed over to the science center but it was closing in 10 minutes so we didn't go in.

      ... we were only an hour away from their favourite island playground how could we resist, and it made for one of the best ways to round out our time in the US. Our time in Seattle was also spent visiting the huge public market downtown and sampling the local sweets, strolling the harbour front and watching the sunset from the top of the space needle. It was pretty perfect indeed. The only sad part was seeing the huge numbers of homeless people in and around the city. ...
