... great to get to see Alex on his own. Too often, he is in his older brother’s shadow, either doing what Sean wants, or at least following Sean’s example. On this trip, he was just Alex, an individual.

I gave Alex a few tasks surrounding our flights, and he attacked them with gusto. He strapped himself in for each flight (I stopped checking after the first day), and when I was ready to fire up the engine, I would tell him "do your thing", which was then met ...

Instead, I wandered the fly-in with Kay, looking at the planes, saying hello to people we had met at the airport two days before and just relaxing. ... went over to the EMP (Experimental Music Project) Museum, a wild-looking building right next to the Space Needle, which was really exciting and fun on the inside, with many videos, from Michael Jackson to the Beatles, to recording-studio type rooms for vocals and musical instruments. There was also a whole section of the museum presenting sci-fi and magic and the movies that best presented them. A fun way to spend an afternoon, for sure!

      ... great tour.

Afterwards we were invited to join Rebecca and Molly for the Happy Hour at Lecosho. They were delightfully interesting company and time just flew by. They had dinner reservations elsewhere but we decided to stay for dinner at Lecosho as it was one of the Seattle Restaurant Week promotion restaurants where three courses are offered for $28 which is fantastic. The food was amazing and we had a thoroughly enjoyable ...
