... them to proceed. Next we walked across the dam to the Lake Washington Fish Ladder where we saw some fish making their way into Lake Union and then to Lake Washington. In the distance there was a railroad bridge over the canal and a train went over it while we were there. We spent about an hour at the locks.

When we left we thought we would go to Ivar’s 15 minutes away for lunch but then we spied Red Mill Totem ...

We went down to her cabin and she was fast asleep! She was able to quickly get ready and we headed down to the main dining room. Carnival is very efficient when it comes to seating people for dinner and we were seated at a table with 3 nice folks from Texas. They are all originally from Puerto Rico ...

Dinner was fun at a big table with others, for the casual night of table service but don’t think we will go to the same one every night.

Tomorrow night it’s a formal night so I doubt that will appeal to us so its great there are other choices.

Tried out the shows and it was a comedy. Didn’t think that much of it so left.

The garden had glass interspersed into the foliage and was by far my favorite
part of Chihuly. It was pretty small, but I walked through it several times.

After Chihuly, I went on the search for food. Which is
surprisingly difficult or maybe I’m just picky. I found a cute little café down
by the ferry service and had a caprese sandwich (because I magically like
          tomatoes now, which ...

It worked. I returned to London a few weeks earlier than Paul in order to repatriate our beloved cat, Jasper, to our home from the neighbours' place, and to complete some home admin (you know what they say about the two certainties in life...) In the meantime, Paul had a very successful job search and accepted a great role building ...
