Historical Traveler Reviews Silver Cloud Hotel Stadium Seattle

    Fantastic hotel, highly recommend!

    from

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff was

very friendly and professional. The rooms were beautiful and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was more than adequate with a neat view of the city. There is a shuttle to take guests into the tourist area of downtown, that was a great service. It was a perfect stay, there is not one thing I can complain about!

    Cumple su función

    from

    Funzionale

    from

    It does the job

    from

It is a great hotel to stay in Seattle. It a little bit off from downtown, but the hotel provides a shuttle van.

The rooms were clean, but somewhat dark. It was kind of disappointing a new hotel like this did not have a safety box inside the room.

    Some nice perks:

Big screen TV was nice. Free internet. Free self-service laundry.. Free continental breakfast.

    Great staff & accommodations!

    from

This hotel is great. The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. The rooms are extremely clean and nicely appointed. We really liked the huge flat screen tv, in room Tully's coffee and morning newspaper delivery. They also offer a complimentary shuttle to get around the city. What a great amenity. We have stayed at several hotels in the Seattle area and this one will be our first choice in the future.

    ¡Estupendo personal y alojamiento!

    from

    from

    Great value!

    from

My friends and I enjoyed our stay at this new hotel located right beside Safeco Field. It may not look like much on the outside, but the interior of the hotel says clean, new and modern.

Our room on the 7th floor had a clear view of the entrance to the stadium. Highlights of our room included a flat screen TV, a microwave, mini-fridge, free wireless-internet, toiletries from Aveda, and complimentary continental breakfast. They have a small outdoor pool and hot tub on the top floor (9th). The concierge is courteous and helpful.

The only negative was that the hotel is situated near the train tracks, and at night we were able to hear the whistling of several trains.

Overall though, I would say that this hotel exceeded the expectations I had of a 3-star hotel, and would not hesitate to stay here again.

    Incredible

    from

This place was great, should NOT be rated a three-star. I believe the only reason it is is because the restaurant isn't ready yet. The room is even nicer than the online pictures make it out to be. Aveda shower products, and IPOD docking station alarm clock, Safeco literally right across the street, free shuttles to downtown locations, a really yummy complimentary breakfast, friendly and knowledgable staff (special thanks to the concierge for making our trip great). I could keep going on but I think it's better to be surprised at all the little extras this hotel has to offer.

    Incroyable

    from

... which were sound proof rooms to thrash away in and you could record your 'music'! We had a mess around on the drums and guitar. They also had a whole stage setting complete with lights and pretend screaming fans so you could perform songs (it even corrected all your bad playing) and afterwards get a video of your set after! Pretty cool.

Then there was an Icons of Science Fiction bit, which had loads of props ...

Arrived in Seattle on time, about an hour and 20 minutes to get to the next flight. But wonder of wonders--the next flight is leaving from the same gate! (This happened to me exactly once before.) But wait--this means...yes! It means we are actually going to get right back on the plane we just got off. Seems to me they used to let you stay on the plane--or at least leave your stuff. No more. Everyone off, and everyone ...

    AMTRAK: VANCOUVER TO SEATTLE

... sadly, I ran out of time. The train trip down to Seattle takes about 4 and half hours and includes some magnificent scenery. And best of all, they had wi-fi that worked ! We headed south down the coast most of the way and stopped briefly in the towns of Bellingham, Mt Vernon, Stanwood, Everett and Edmonds. The views out to the San Juan Islands and Olympic National Park were awesome. Just out of a little town called 'White Rock' is the US / Canada border crossing. Despite ...

... A nicely dressed guy came up to me, showed me a text on his phone from the woman Gunn in India. This was her contact, his name was Arfan and he had found us. He turned out to be a very successful businessman in this little town, had 10 extremely colorful trucks for importing coal from India and distributing it around Bangladesh. All of the buses and trucks in Bangladesh are painted outrageous and fun colors. Music often blares from them as they go by. The people in this part of ...
