... my last day on the island was lovely. I went back to Perfect Dough again.... and had breakfast (best fried eggs in ages and they use real butter on their toast - bonus). Then I spent the whole day under an umbrella reading my book then going for a swim when I was too hot and only coming out when I'd cooled down. Bliss.

In-between the procession of beach sellers I managed to fit in fresh fruit (and my last banana roti) drinks were supplied by Perfect Dough. Then as ...

... to be just made of wrinkly skin and no fur and then another dog turns up and another and they are all just skin!
This is the island of the dogs, they are everywhere. One of them, which I later name Gary, gets in the sea and starts swimming at us with its tongue out. Phidel keeps saying its trying to hump me and laughs his head off. A bigger, mangier hound keeps snarling at Gary from the sand so we scare away the other dog and then Gary follows us back to ...

... desk and took a room that I was pleased to find I could actually stand up in. The grounds were open, grassy and manicured, with tropical plants all around and cabanas lining the paths. Needless to say, I got used to this place real quick. But as I observed the groups of people around the resort while I was eating lunch, I realized there weren't many mixed groups. It was mostly couples and small groups of men... which I soon realized to be gay men. They ...
