    Arrived in Venice Saturday which is a destination I enjoy,maybe as it is surrounded by water.     A really stunning morning and it was tempting to swim and laze on the beach but...there are places to go and things to see.

    ... of streets and buildings in various states of repair. There were also a variety of plants , gardens and livestock throughout the back streets.


    We do enjoy the street food and had a tasty giros for lunch. The homemade pita bread was light and crispy if a little salty. As the temperature was close to 30C we needed to rehydrate before heading up the hill and a swim as we got back to camp.
