    Getting around

    There are many taxis, motorbike taxis and tricycles. However, they will often try to overcharge you if they know you are not a native of China, or Beihai. Haggling is customary, so do not be afraid to ask for a lower rate. Getting a taxi ride from the Shangri-La hotel to the train station is about 20 RMB.     ... led them to talk about me for a while - I just kept hearing the words for Singaporean and English haha. After dinner we played a lively game of Uno which actually lasted more than 2 hours!
