When we woke up this morning, neither of us could move without complaint. Calves, knees, thighs, and even abs had taken a toll from the day before. Yowza! Man, are we out of shape. I wonder how some of those other people faired??
We started off the morning by stumbling down to the port for a tour through the Maritime Museum. As we were coming down the stairs, holding onto the railing for dear life, an older couple started coming up ...
... in the tiny town of Agia Pelaglia. The town has a few tiny beaches and surrounded by olive and grape plants on the hills. We were greeted in the morning with breakfast on the balcony including home made Greek yoghurt and honey, homemade bread with jams made by 'muma' and plenty of baklava, fruit and tomatoes. After breakfast we wondered down into town to the beaches, and after climbing a few rocks were rewarded with ...
... book. We way over ordered. Very good – Greek Salad, stuffed peppers and tomatoes, followed by lamb and rice. Here we made a vow to only order two things at a time – a salad and one entrée. If we needed more food, we could always order more. Even with two items, they always bring you “on the house” fruit at the end of the meal which is usually a plate full of grapes or melons, peaches, etc. No need for good food to go to waste!

... 8220;25 Euros flat rate to Airport” another exclaimed – although honest this time, we still continued on to the train for 14 Euros instead. I believe we felt the need to balance out the stupid tourist fine we paid to the taxi driver from the Athens airport after all.
The station was packed around 9:00am as the Airport destined train pulled in. It was already jammed full and only a handful of people departed ...
