So yesterday I met a whole bunch of really cool kiwis and Aussies. I room with 2 Aussies(Vivian & Ruby) 2 South Africans (Li & Hannah ) and another kiwi ( Sarah ). ... main drag is typically touristy in the Taiwanese fashion, it was a peaceful walk to the waterfall. We met some people dressed in native costume and took a photos with them. It's a nice place to relax, not TOO crowded...we didn't try the hot-springs but was a bit disappointed they were not outdoor hot-springs. It's definitely a worthwhile daytrip from Taipei.
