... Finally, on my fourth trip we found time to get out fishing and... we caught nothing. Not even a bite. Damnit. Thankfully, there is also time tomorrow for more fishing so hopefully one of us catches something.
This weekend will be very busy as we re-evaluate our fish to see if their behaviour has changed. If all goes well, we are hoping to take Monday off and either do some site seeing or more fishing!

... to Ringkobing and subsequently to Esbjerg in order to also check the "North Sea"-box of our bucket lists. It did some time to get to Silkeborg, however, since apparently there are two in little Denmark, or at leat my navigation system thinks so. On returning back to Göttingen ...
... a couple stores, Beth found some free WiFi long enough to post on Facebook, then back to the ship, just made it before a nasty thunder storm hit. This night we met a couple from USA who are stationed in Germany, we had them up to our balcony for drinks and room service, was a great night!!
... the car. Back at the car, we had an unwelcome surprise: a parking fine. We always look carefully whether we need to pay for parking, but didn't see anything on arrival at the car park. However, as the unsympathetic traffic cop pointed out, there was indeed a sign at the entrance indicating that we needed to pay for parking. When we told him that it was in Danish and that we didn't understand, he pointed out that there was an English translation, even though he admitted that ...
... I'm going to miss both my family and friends. I really enjoyed the last dip in the lake with some of my friends.
Also, thanks to Jens for some awesome oreo-milkshakes
