Anjuna and Goa
... some proper good house tunes and loads of people were loving it on the dancefloor inside just having a good time. He played one of my old favourite tunes - The Man With the Red Face by Laurent Garnier - right at the end which was ace aswell. Music finished about 10am because of police I think but we stayed chilling with some girls from Oz and Holland I think. Then people were going home and I walked the Dutch girl home as it was down the beach on the way to mine and went home for a kip.

Ice cold in Goa

When we arrived a group of monkeys started to descend from the trees by the car-park and we headed over. The printed guide we'd been handed to the park said not to feed the monkey's, but as with so much in Goa the Russian tourists hadn't taken a blind bit of notice and fed them anyway, so the rule was dropped. ...
Anjuna beach baby!
Despite mixed reports from various travellers we decided to start Goa in Anjuna so got off our overnight train from Mumbai at Thivvim station, then we took a bus to Mapusa and another to Panjim before the final one to Anjuna arriving late morning on the 13th - as has become the custom recently we started with a beer in a local bar (Starco) while we figured out where we were on the map. Christmas in Paradise
... the intense afternoon heat to see what had he brought. Got some lovely presents including loads of chocolate from home and a compulsory pair of novelty socks and also lots of cards. It was really nice although it did make me feel a bit lonely for home and for the people who had sent those presents.
