Today we decided to go to Grabill, about 15 minutes drive Northeast. Grabill has a large Amish community (10th largest in the USA according to wikipedia) so I thought it would be cool for Darren to experience it and see if we could go horse and buggy spotting!!
We managed to see a few horse and buggy's on the way in...it was a pretty quiet place so we parked up and walked to 'The country shops of Grabill' which is a huge flea market type store. ...
... or just can't be bothered??)
So we called a different branch and sure enough they said 'of course they can do that for us'.
So by the end of the day we were relieved to have sorted everything out and a little frustrated at being sent around so much. As things stand we are only really waiting for the title/plate to be posted and Darrens Social Security Card to be posted. The other green card docs we can hopefully deal with wherever we are with a little help from ...
... pool and seeing Grandma.
Today we started to get packages delivered so it's like Christmas here! We also received our National Parks annual pass too so we can now get into any National Park for free for a year....very excited! This also means that if anyone comes to visit we can take you to any of them free too so you better start booking flights!!
That's about it for now.....oh one more ...
... little chipmunk jumped up into the bin. Chipmunks are seen as pests here so I did get some odd looks as to why I was trying so hard to get a picture. I think it's kind of strange to them that we would pay money to buy one as a pet in the UK. Anyway I still think they're cute so enjoy the picture.
That's all for now...enjoy!

... buying but is regretting now.
Next we went to ***** and at last we found a small selection of hiking boots!!!! See picture of our fancy new purchase. We also found the same make of hammocks which said they were on sale with a great saving of...drum roll.....4 cents!!!! SAY WHAT!!!! So we are thinking of getting a double size hammock to take along so if we find a few nice looking trees or sturdy fixings we can just hang out there for a while ...
