      Today we are heading to Santander for the ferry to Plymouth. Having looked into the pros and cons of our usual Roscoff to Plymouth route this came out on top. It saved almost 500 miles of driving, and the associated tolls,and at least two overnight stops.       Plane delayed until 13.30 so our plans for walking to Navarette were in jeopardy early on.
