    ... Navarette about 8km from Logrono. By 9 we were only on outskirts, through that big park area and the sun was setting. We were heading into countryside but it was really too late to walk further. A lovely Spanish lady out walking her dog rang a taxi for us. Arrived in hostel El Cantaro 9.30.     ... familiar names - looking at the sat nav I was now riding in a north west direction - ouch the sat nav was taking me back to the to coast in a big loop...through northern Spain towards Bilbao... Stopped for coffee reviewed map now heading for ...Pamplona, think I rode close to there yesterday. Looked at a mountain route off crossing the Pyrenees motorway having spent around 20 euros in tolls in a very short distance (it all adds up) however more importantly not much fun. ...
