... block to our hotel that Carlee and Andy had sorted out. We quickly checked in at La Posta del Cazador, which was built in a hunting lodge style and were given a nice room on the first floor with a lake view.

Everyone was starving and we took a walk up Avenida San Martin to El Regional restaurant, which was recommended by our hotel. It had really nice decor with the focus being on the two huge chandeliers made from deer ...

Javier invited Ben to play a set one night and took us to a few good late-night bars. San Martin was surprisingly lively for such a small town and it would be the perfect venue to celebrate Christmas. We would be back! ...

... a beer. Then home for some swimming. Pasta for dinner then an early night because we had a 6am bus to catch to Puerto Varas Chile the next morning. A pity because we loved San Martin Los DES Andes for its nature, shopping, chocolate shops and beef.
