Tis the night before flight, only 1 creature remain stirring, while the other is with wine and close to his sight blurring. Only 4 1/2 hours away... wait, this d@m- autocorrect on this new phone keeps leading thou words astray...anyway... the creature still packs to the husband's dismay. To be connived...or ...

... that is. Un huh. I found out there was an island nearby, other than the one on the resort. The second day I was here off I went to Anna Maria Island. It is a wonderful place with sugar sand beaches, great seaside cafes and bars and is just laid back as can be. I walked out on the beach, but didn't go into the Gulf of Mexico cuz I didn't have my swim suit along. Lots of folks were sunning themselves and just enjoying the good weather ...

... of Florida. Tomorrow we should be able to see the Everglades and, if all goes well, end our day in Key West! Although we hit a little rain this morning, it is suppose to be nice and dry in Florida tomorrow. No impact from the hurricane which is impacting the mid-East Coast states. Awful, awful, awful place. Once we say the room we tried to get our money back but the desk clerk was quite nasty and refused to refund our money. we were stuck. So we made the best of dirty sheets, smelly room and a general sense of unease and explored Bradenton and Venice.
We visited a nature preserve and the Pittsburgh Pirates spring ...

... about his party planned tonight in North Carolina where Brasher/Bogue Band will be touring. How about that? He will have a birthday party with live music with his cousin Andy playing. Logan has lived in Mooresville NC since July of 2012 and we are very proud of him and his new job. Happy Birthday, to our special grandson, Logan.
