... the plates of with cheese and then added some hot water to make the food warm. One plate even had some whipped cream on it. I was amazed about the care taken in preparing their food.

After allowing dinner to digest, we ended the evening with a little time in their hot tub. As always, a visit with John and Earlynn is a fun time. They are great hosts and always make us feel special.

... of my time in San Diego was amazing. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there visiting with family and friends. I had an EPIC birthday celebration. A friend flew in from out of town and we both hit the town exploring! Birthday week, super quick breakdown: beach, awesome food, rented a BMW and went driving through Palomar Mountain and back in desert country, drove to LA and visited Hollywood Blvd, went to Six Flags Magic Mountain, more beach, more amazing food, and done! ...

... for F1 race, NASCAR race and the golf tournament. The only thing we were going to do today was to go to the lookout on the highest bridge in CA and hit the grocery store. Of course that means it is 3 pm here and getting into the hottest part of the day, but off we went. By the time we walked partway across the bridge and headed home it was 100 (which we haven't seen in a while)!!

Steak night and packing up the bikes and cleaning. Heading to Redding CA and then to Crater Lake ...
