Happy Valentine's Day!
Enroute to getting groceries we chanced upon a pet store and could not resist going and getting puppy love for Valentine's Day as the photos show. Later that day we took in the spa at South Pointe Casino, right next door to the Grandview. Since we landed in Vegas we've met some interesting folks and want to tell you a bit more about them.
As we have travelled somethings never cease to amaze us.
... On Wednesdays it's their "Young at Heart" promotion so for ten slot points you can get 2-1 buffets, a free T-shirt (D can hardly wait to proudly wear his out somewhere! Ha!), movies for $4 and entries into a cash draw. D and I sipped on happy hour margaritas and Dos XX while waiting for them to draw our names, but surprisingly we didn't win the cash! We did eat at the excellent French Market buffet for $5 ea and really ...
... the end and beginning of the show. I guess I have a soft spot for huge things!
After the show, we went to the front of the hotel to get a taxi home. The queue was so long, we were all feeling happy but exhausted, and a little bit reckless, so we went to the limousine stand instead. We caught a limo for the twenty minute ride back, which was the best thing that ever happened to me!!!! It was soooooo cool and glamorous, with three double ...

Our last stop was the "Caesars Palace". It turned out to be just like other casinos, only built in an ancient Rome style. There we decided to have a drink and it turned out that you get free drinks only if you invest your money and actually play.
