... The Trump hotel is pure luxury and definitely symbolising the end of my backpacking ! A long awaited helicopter ride on day three was just breathtaking ; limo ride to the airfield then up in the chopper - across the Hoover Dam and landing for brunch in the Grand Canyon ! We began,our descent into Honolulu,and when we landed,I immediately went to the Find My I Phone and it showed the location o b in Honolulu,so I knew that it was I my wheeled bag which was in the overhead dont know what BIG relief that was knowing I had it with me and it was not lost....HUGE, I then walked to the baggage claim and got my luggage Nd took the taxi home... ITS BACK TO REALITY,...BUT A GREAT ...

... hiking who, from their initial 'is this your first time hiking the Thrust? (Meaning the Keystone Thrust of Red Rock Canyon) and a 45 minute conversation later, are now joining us for coffee in Palm Dessert. Once they heard about our planned trip down the Oregon coast this coming Fall, they insisted on us meeting up to hear about the Oregon wineries and micro breweries.

... much to see that it is quite dizzying at times. All along the sidewalk there are people dressed up in costume who are willing to have their photo taken with you - for a price. We bumped into a skinny Elvis who generously posed for a photo for a dollar. Then there was a Minion who demanded a dollar before he would pose. He was very friendly once the money was handed over. We saw Woody, Elmo, cabaret dancers and much more.
