    My flight from Honolulu is 5 hours, but with the time difference i get into Vegas at midnight. By the time i get my bag, collect hire car, drive to hotel and get into bed its 2am. But i an still on Hawaii time so not really tired as Hawaii time is 10pm.

    ... near as much on the ground, without spending several days and/or hiking to the bottom of the Canyon or rafting through it along the Colorado River (both of which I believe would also be brilliant).     We made it to Vegas close to midnight and I couldn't help but almost sprint to baggage claim. Along the way, I found my BFF whose flight had come in around the same time as ours and we made our way to pick up our bags together.
