We are, apparently, out of season. This small town is host to lots of watersports enthusiasts as the season turns to summer, but right now they are still in preparation mode. We've seen restaurants being renovated, deckchairs being unpacked, patios being laid, a boat being launched. Some buildings look as tho they are still being built. ... Marijampole. We chose the latter route. We left Vilnius, driving for the first time in mid week traffic. It was very busy. When we left the Kaunas motorway and turned onto the E28 the traffic was just as bad but the road deteriorated to a pot hole ridden single carriageway. ... liked Liverpool and Arsenal not Man Utd because he doesn't like Ferguson. Additionally he wanted to explain that not all Polish people are coming to England for work and that there are good and bad in all people. We agreed to agree on that for sure along with the fact that Poland is a beautiful country. This area in particular is fantastic for a holiday.
