Even though the trip was really set up to make as much money of tourists as possible to make up for the low original fare, it was still a great experience and a lovely part of the country to visit. After returning to our accommodation in the early evening we went for a walk to the beach were we swam some more and watched the sun go down. It was an absolutely perfect way to end the day. ...

When we arrived it was 8.30 pm and we were picked up by a nice man who took us to the room we are renting. It was time for a walk...too much sitting had been done. We decided to walk to the beach and explore.
What a circus!!! It was like a New Year's Eve party in a major Thailand tourist hot spot. Lights beaming colours into to sky, neon signs flashing everywhere you look, tourists walking round dressed like drug overdosed ...

We were unable to see the Aspendos Theatre as it has been closed for renovations, but we did see the reconstructed bridge and the aquaduct. In the 1930's Atatürk, after tourıng the area, declared that theatre was too beautiful not to use and had renovations done and it now is the home of live performances. This did not sit well with some historians. ...
