Today we took a bus tour east of Antalya. It started early - 8am. Being on time isn't high on the list of priorities around here. Sue and I were at the pick up point at 7:50 am. One guy had two small monkeys dressed in gold lame jackets on a lead.

No thanks! When I looked back a few moments later, he had a monkey on each shoulder, and I unkindly wished they were full of explosive pomegranate juice.

We had an hour before the BBQ on the boat, which we spent warding off small children selling bracelets ...

We liked Konya as far as a big..not Hugh...but big Turkish city goes...THIS one did not have that chaotic feel to it. I made the mistake of thinking the Dervishes were whirling nightly. NOT. Darn! I am very saddened that I will miss the Dervish here. I guess this just means it will always be calling me back. In spite of the inland pervasive pollution...I do love this country.
