Early start for our departure to Chengdu on the 9.20am flight which didn't leave till 10am due to air traffic. Arrived at Chengdu at 1.05pm met by Local Guide Frank and transferred to the Hotel for check in, the Hotel is in the central city area and a very good location, later we went for a walk around the shops.
That evening we enjoyed a local Sichuan dinner which contains a lot of hot and spicy food, it was very good. Returned back to the Hotel at 8pm.
We depart this beautiful area today and head for the airport stopping on way at a Government owned gemstone store. Our flight is 12.40pm but is delayed and we have to wait at the Airport till we finally depart at 3.15pm for Chengdu. Our National Escort Michael kept us busy with some Thi Chi lessons. Apparently it is very common for delayed flights.
Arriving back in Chengdu at 4.05pm with our Local Guide Frank to greet us, we head for our Hotel getting there at 5.30pm. Dinner this eveni...
September 26, 2007 We left Zhongshan on August 2nd, and headed for Guangzhou so we could catch our flight to Chengdu.
