... a 2 hour train and explored the ancient Thai capital of Ayuthaya, where we rented some bikes and rode around the park seeing some ancient Wats. They were not as put together as the ones in Bangkok, but nonetheless, a cool experience seeing the remains of some ancient ruins (plus eating more sweet street food).
Finally fully rested, we head south to Railay beach (in Krabi) to enjoy the beach!
... hot and sticky - I'm not sure I've ever been this sweaty! We had a wander down Khoa San road which is the main touristy road in Bangkok. Lots of things to buy! I limited myself to a little bag that a thought would come in useful! That night we explored the infamous Khao San road, where bars, restaurants and market stalls line the street and stalls selling cooked insects (and the odd whole, barbecued spider on a stick) are plentiful.
