... where he wanted to go or for how long. jumped on anyway and rode into the jungle. the view was spectacular. rice and coffee fields for days. everything is SO green! stopped halfway up at a villager's home for gas (aka petrol). it was raining, so i had to go inside. watched the mom rock her baby to sleep while pigs and chickens ran around everywhere. i can't believe how welcoming they were to a complete stranger. again, no english, so i just awkwardly stood there ...

Ironically as we set out towards Hot we enjoyed our coolest spell of riding as the temperature plummeted south to the low thirties!!!
