... since the road had been completely washed out. He added, that we should have paid attention to the sign at the bottom of the hill.... We texted everyone else to take the direct route on an un-nice N road, and turned around and started down. This entry by Tom.

I suppose if I'd thought about it, we were always very likely to run into issues with road construction on this trip and it finally happened today.

I also visited Graus on my motorbike and thought it a lovely town, my feelings enhanced by the fact it had a patisserie selling delicious cakes. I liked it so much I decided ...

We arrived this afternoon after driving via Toulouse. The drive up the mountains takes two hours and is a combination of winding roads and tunnels a few times all you could see was a mountain 100 metres ahead and no obvious road until you go around a bend. Its one of the prettiest towns I've ever seen. Snow all gone but now gearing up for summer hikers. Wine 2 euro a bottle, beer 2.50 a pint.I had a few electrical problems but after an hour with ...
