Day One: 93km and 2300m of ascent
We couldn’t have asked for a better first day - perfect weather, no fitness issues and a steady climb to the finish.

None of us slept much last night because of a combination of jet lag and excitement so we weren’t feeling at our best but we knew that the adrenaline would keep us going which it did. We started in the little town of Ripoli on the Spanish side of the ...

Andorra - wiggly, waggly woads!!

... Andorra La Vella. An amazing sensation - a large city crowded in on all sides by steep mountain sides, in an alpine gorge less than a kilometre wide. No hope of stopping and parking ( we had been forewarned by friend Miles) so we drove through. Then we decided to head for the hills and look for camp spot. Good sleep tonight, unlike last night, where the town hoons did a tour of the car park at 2 ...

I, due to road fatigue, engaged. "How big is the chimpanzee", I asked. "What does this have to do with Wilfred the Hairy?", asked Bethany. Yes, the important person (but not quit a ...

... If you are in the market for a new car, camera or watch Andorra La Vella, the main town of Andorra is for you. Seated in the valley of the Pyrenees, geographically the town was stunning but we quickly found it just felt like we were staying in the duty free section of an airport. No soul, no good food and rude shoppers. What a shame. We were a little confused as Rod our Aussie housemate in Uganda said that Andorra was an awesome little country. Rod is definately not known ...
