Vanochtend brengt Koen zijn laatste test weg naar de kliniek, alles is in orde. Intussen schrijf ik wat verslagen en doe met de hand in de badkuip de was. (Mita : I did the washing) Daarna huren we weer fietsen, dat is toch wel een ideaal vervoermiddel in Beijing. De metro is druk en taxi's zijn lastig te krijgen, vooral in de spits en avonds. De fiets pak je en ga wanneer je er aan toe bent.
Allereerst gaan we naar de pearl market. Dit zal het van origine wel geweest ...

... shower facilities or toilet facilities as they only ‘rent’ the room. Hence they must walk or cycle to the closest PUBLIC facility each morning in order to shower and prepare for their day. WOW ! The first thought that entered my head was that WE (in our countries) all want and demand Ensuites ( as well as a main bathroom ) in our homes these days !!?? (Reality check number six hundred and ninety two this holiday)

This morning we were up at 6am and we were back into the tour routine. It has been 5 weeks since we had to fit to someone else's timetable so it was a bit of a shock.
