... pleasantries and asked where ya'll were from. I went on to explain that we were touring ballparks and had just left KC and headed to St. Louis. She smiled and said, "I beg your pardon" So I said, we are on vaycayshun. She said, "oh, that's nice, enjoy!". LOL. WE got out to the car and Bryan said, "you talk to fast, she had no idea what you were saying". Giddyup!
Bryan was able to complete his set of the beer goblet ...

My mother was an Alpha Chi Omega at University of Missouri. As a kid, my sister and I learned all her sorority songs and we sang them as we drove places in her red Buick convertible. One song started with the lyric:

"I'm a sheik of the open road, a rolling stone am I."

... I wouldn’t have traded it for the world. The Plexiglas windows aren’t exactly clear, but it was still good enough to see around the entire downtown area. You could feel the Arch sway slightly if you paid close enough attention, but it wasn’t enough to make me feel nauseous. The area up there is quite narrow as you’d imagine, but not over crowded. My husband and I often talk about our dream trips but we have real trouble prioritizing them. I was thinking about this today and decided to attempt a Top Five Dream Trips list. Believe me, this was really tough -- I want to see the entire world and I love all travel so narrowing it down to just five was a brain bender.
