... to me. So I had to trudge through snow and sleet for over a kilometre to get some food. And on the way I got splashed with ice water by 3 different passing vehicles. Awesome. I'm now tucked safely away in my traditional japanese room in my love hotel (which is actually quite cool), and I'm knackered! Today I headed to mt fuji. It was a 4 and a half hour trip, setting off at 6.30 am and arriving by 11am at my hostel. We missed that other train and had to ...

It's about one hour ride, passing the west Tokyo, places that I'd been to earlier this year in Jan, like Mita (three eagles) 吉祥寺and places that often appear in detective novels (國分). This is the suburban of Tokyo.

At Ootsuki, we had to transfer to the yoshida (吉田)line, and we almost missed it ...

The lower we get the higher the temperatures and humidity get as well and unbelievably we started the day around freezing temperature and arrive at Fujinomyia with 30+ degrees.

Our Ryokan is a beautiful place with very nice rooms with view on the Fuji that we have been climbing. In front of the spacious room we have a pond with Koi fish and the silence is perfect. We take ...
