      Vanochtend zijn we op tijd vertrokken uit Cairns. We reden richting Wallaman falls. Zo'n 400 km rijden. Onderweg gestopt bij een rainforest trail en deze ook gelopen. Was maar 600 meter.       So last post we left off arriving at the Mamu Rainforest Canopy Walk. This "sky" walk gives you eye-level views of the fruits, flowers and birds along a nice, easy, pram friendly 2.5km circuit culminating with a 100 step 37m high tower at the furthermost point.       ... jetty and have some delicious fish and chips by the sea. The sugar industry has built a 5.76 kilometre jetty to load the processed sugar cane onto ships.

      We are having a wonderful time in Far North Queensland, a beautiful and interesting place to visit. I don't think we'd like it as much in the 'wet season' when cyclones come.
