Vanochtend zijn we op tijd vertrokken uit Cairns. We reden richting Wallaman falls. Zo'n 400 km rijden. Onderweg gestopt bij een rainforest trail en deze ook gelopen. Was maar 600 meter. After the night tour, we plan on heading over to the Mena Creek Hotel for some dinner.

Etty bay is a council owned caravan park and for 2 weeks every year all the visitors have to disappear and it is open for local only. The cossawary chick I saw was about 12 months old, a metre high and just starting to get his lovely blue colour. About 2 weeks ago ...

... his advice again and took drinks and nibbles down to Mourilyan port and marina to watch the sunset. Now this doesn’t sound too glamorous but it was idyllic. It is a natural deep water port and marina where a river mouth comes behind a hill and into the sea, so protecting the ships inside and it is primarily a sugar port ( 13% of Queenslands raw sugar is shipped from there,) but also ships live cattle ...
