Seven years ago when we were here, we had put a Walmart location into our GPS to do some shopping. This was at a place called "Pass Christian", when we got to the point that Walmart was supposed to be located all we found was a cement slab Katrina had wiped out the building and most of the coastline including the boardwalk that followed the beach. It was used during World War II as coastal defense, then deactivated in 1946. I s'pose I "discovered" Fort Morgan in the early 1950's - I can't remember not being ...

Expect the Unexpected

... right? We had been faithful all Feast and here we were stuck without a vehicle, barely able to get it back to the shop. Turns out it needed a new alternator as well, which brings us to our current state. We have had no choice but to stay two extra nights, and may be needing to stay an additional night to get our car up to standards.

Did I mention we were pretty much car-less all Feast? We had to ride with my in-laws anywhere we needed or wanted to ...
