Having cut short on the fifa, we retreated for an early night before our early wake-up to go diving a few hours south west of Tokyo, on the Izu peninsula. After meeting our diving instructors at Shinjuku station, we drove down to our spot. The route, on a clear day, is stunning by the way. ... our descent and walk slowly down. Now the suffering starts as climbing down is becoming the bigger challenge than the hike up. The gravel is loose and you have to pick carefully where to step without loosing the balance.
Now I regret that I wear soft shoes and my toes start to hurt. The climbing down takes all of our forces and we think that we have used the same amount of time as going up.

We start in the morning with the great breakfast of the hotel. Important is now to pack differently as we want to climb tonight Mount Fuji.

Thanks to Yuko we go for a short shopping downtown Kyoto before we pack and go.
The trrain ride to Fujinomyia takes some time and as we did not reserve the train we have to stand most of the time. Passing the area towards Fuji we see where the tea flelds are and now we understand where all ...
