... to do in – well, ever, or nearly ever. Such fuzzy and beautiful looking creatures, and so dexterous with their hands to pick up treats and bamboo for their lunch. We could have spent hours watching them! But that probably would have annoyed all the people behind us in line hoping for a look, too. So we had to move on, and spent the rest of the day playing spot the lion / tiger / condor / otter / owl / monkey / Hokkaido brown bear / ...

Piece of cake!!!

I climbed with 2 American's, Jeff and Nath. Jeff was fully equipped (which turned out to be very helpful), whilst Nath and I looked more like pathetic backpackers. Our outfit was crunched together with everything our backpacks had to offer for such an adventure.

8 km walk from walk Magemo to Tsumago.

The guide book and the tourist information centre told me that it would take 3hours to walk it.
However I only had 2, as I got up way to late to actually do this walk. What can I say i did it in 1 1/2 hours :)
