It was another beautiful spring day and was just perfect for the visit to Hakone. The day started with a quick Maccas brekkie, then a train from Yoyogi to Shinjuku. ... our group seemed hungry enough to start eating the food intended for the fish and ducks. Thankfully, our next stop was to lunch a Japanese restaurant with a very traditional setting. Students enjoyed an authentic Japanese dining experience and left with very positive feedback of the food and the atmosphere of the dining experience.

There are many other touristy things to do around the lakes and it depends on what you want to do. There are lots of museums and crafty things all around the lakes.Its worth going just for the view. I recommend staying at Koe house japanese style which is super close to the station.
